Acrobat Development

While Acrobat, as delivered by Adobe in their retail product, is an excellent tool as delivered there are many times when this functionality needs to be extended, modified, automated, or moved.  Some examples include:

1.  embedding the functionality of Acrobat inside of another, larger, application.
2.  Adding items to (or removing from) the Acrobat User Interface.
3.  Automating a repetitive set of Acrobat tasks.
4.  Server generation, modification, and manipulation of PDF files.

It should be noted that the first 3 of the above examples are going to require the 'full' version of Acrobat (i.e. they will not work with the free Reader).  Since Server usage is not permitted with Adobe Acrobat the last example requires the use of third-party tools.

The PDF Group can assist in the development of these projects in many ways including design reviews, delivering working code snippets, or delivering complete applications (including installers and documentation).
